Just south of Austin in small town Gruene, Texas, the serene light and Guadalupe river running through the oaks and cypress trees inspired this original painting. The light filters through the moss hanging from the trees and changes the sky colors that come through like stain glass windows, especially in the morning light or at dusk. The vibrant sky colors reflect on the moving water in this coloful local inspired painting. If you've crossed the Gruene bridge, fished in kayaks or tubed on the Guadalupe River, you know this spot.

This fine art print was created using very high quality materials including pigment based inks and archival papers. In order to keep your print in great condition it is important to frame with archival materials (mattes, backing board etc), keep out of direct sunlight, and frame with a UV glass.

Unframed (rolled) canvas print dimensions are exact to what is shown on the store. An unframed 30x40" canvas print includes a 3" border large enough for 1.5" stretcher bars, for a total dimension of 33x43" (the image area is 30x40"). This is a custom order and takes 5-7 business days to process before shipping.
