"My new Texas Summer paintings series explores iconic Austin places, food and flowers, outdoor sanctuary places around Texas, and the light and color that runs through them. This Texas painting series celebrates the beauty in the everyday, in nature, and in our memory of nostalgic places.  I hope this Texas made artwork acts as a window or telescope to see the beauty in your lives. While I love summer travel to wander to beautiful places, I have been struck this season by how if I wake up my eyes to see it, the beauty is here, in this place. I hope these paintings and this inspiration resonates with you.
