These fine art prints feature two iconic places in the Texas Hill Country located in the small German town of New Braunfels, Texas. Both horizontal prints.
Artist Inspiration: I love the wooded areas and rivers that run through Texas, like this running through small town Gruene, Texas. All the light that filters through the oaks and cypress trees and changes the sky colors that come through like stain glass windows, especially in the morning light or at dusk. I like to paint all the lines that reflect on the moving water. This painting was inspired by the view from the Gruene Crossing looking east. If you've crossed that bridge, fished in kayaks or tubed on the Guadalupe River near Gruene, Texas, you know this spot.
Thank you for your interest in my art. Smaller sizes of these prints available in my shop.

ABOUT
I’m Courtney Leigh Holder! Born and raised in Austin, Texas, I have spent my life wandering through the woods of the Texas Hill Country, tubing it’s rivers, boot scoot’n in its dance halls and exploring this great state with so much diverse beauty. I paint places, people, ideas and still lifes I feel connected to and hope my paintings act as a telescope or window for you to feel that same connection to something beautiful.
Thank you for collecting my work as I explore mystery, nature and human connection through my paintings, mostly in Texas with occasional ramblings to other beautiful places.
