A contemporary still life oil painting of a Mezcal Margarita made with my little sister's recipe. This is my favorite summertime Texas cocktail drink she makes -- this oil painting brings back memories of fun hot summer days with my sisters and laughter. I love the teal blue color of the Mi Mama Me Dijo Mezcal glass and all the lemon, lime, orange ingredient with a dash of Chapulins that makes it seem authentic to it's Mexican heritage. I love painting this colorful still life arrangement of colors and reflective glass especially the reflective metal of the shaker because of how the metal reflects all the colorful ingredients of one of my summertime favorite alcoholic Texas cocktails! This Mezcal Margarita recipe tastes divine, and the painting includes all the ingredients you need to make it. 

I have a July birthday and margaritas and Texas birthday fajita parties are forever paired in my life alongside the Gypsy Kings music.
