This Wurstfest art print is inspired by the Texas German Fall Festival in New Braunfels, near Austin, Texas and comes is larger size options. It's a great New Braunfels, Austin and Texas Hill Country gift idea for art lovers of Texas! Have you had a beer in this Texas biergarten? An Austin native, I later transplanted to New Braunfels, Texas in 2009, but have been going to Wurstfest my whole life! I love the small German town of New Braunfels, and specifically this place in Landa Park where once a year my favorite festival comes around. This specific biergarten is where I reconnected with my now husband. I've danced here countless times with friends. It's the place I've met my sisters, old friends, new friends and some of my very favorite people. All my prints are made in Texas with nostalgia, and crafted to brighten your spaces with memories of iconic Texas landmarks and landscapes.

►WHO I AM◄
I’m Courtney! Born and raised in Austin, Texas, I have spent my life wandering through the woods of the Texas Hill Country, tubing it’s rivers, boot scoot’n in its dance halls and exploring this great state with so much diverse beauty. I travel out to the high deserts of West Texas as often as I can to see the night skies in the darkest place in North America and soak up the big skies and desert landscape.
I started oil painting when I was 9 and haven’t stopped. I love to paint places I feel connected to and hope these paintings act as windows for others to feel connected to them too. Nostalgia and mystery are common themes in my work, and “Sehnsucht,” a German word that resonates with me and means an intense yearning we feel especially for the unfinished parts of our life. Often when I paint night lights, or blue flowers, these are all symbols for this word “Sehnsucht.”
Thank you for collecting my work as I explore mystery, nature and human connection through my paintings, mostly in Texas with occasional ramblings to Colorado and New Mexico. Please message me , and introduce yourself! I’d love to learn something about you✨
