Native to Austin, I have watched the bats fly from under the Congress Street bridge at dusk my entire life. This nostalgic, old Austin seasonal tradition of watching the Mexican bats migrate is wrapped up in my memories with all this gorgeous sunset light reflecting off of Lady Bird lake, and the iconic shapes of the Austin skyline, including the glowing Frost building. Sunset watching at Congress Bridge -- in my humble opinion -- is one of the best things to do and see in downtown Austin, Texas.
